zkSync Community Update – September 2023
zkSync has been abuzz with lively community activity! For the first time, zkSync Era surpassed Ethereum in transaction volume over a 30-day period. September also saw the inaugural translations of the ZK Credo, now accessible in Spanish, Chinese, French, and Vietnamese, on GitHub. Excitingly, contributors will have the opportunity to mint a ZK Credo Contributor GitPOAP! We're thrilled to introduce new avenues to contribute to the zkSync Ecosystem: 👉 If you are a bug hunter, seize the opportunity to secure zkSync Era with a 1.1 million USDC bounty available on Code4rena (Tweet).

zkSync Community Update – July 2023
A reminder that zkSync Era is a permissionless, censorship-resistant protocol. Anyone is free to participate in the Ethereum and zkSync Era networks, validate transactions, and create smart contracts without needing any central authority or approval (read more about it on the ZK Credo). That puts an additional burden on users to DYOR (“Do Your Own Research”) before interacting with a project. We put up a guide highlighting the best practices, available on Mirror.

zkSync Community Update – June 2023
Zero-Knowledge technology is set to revolutionize the Internet of Value through decentralized networks. We strongly believe that a set of guiding principles, including trustlessness, security, reliability, censorship-resistance, privacy, hyperscalability, accessibility, and sovereignty, must form the foundation of such networks. With this in mind, we have drafted an initial version of the ZK Credo to outline these principles. This document is intended for the community, and we invite everyone to contribute and express their vision of a ZK-powered Internet of Value that ensures personal freedom for all (GitHub).

zkSync Community Update – September 2023
The DevRel team has been fine-tuning the development experience on zkSync Era. Nik, DevRel at Matter Labs, has successfully deployed numerous upgrades to the in-memory node (GitHub). Additionally, we introduced a new status page on Uptime (Tweet) and initiated the eagerly-anticipated upgrade on the block.timestamp, block.number and blockhash. You can read details about the upgrade on GitHub Discussions.
