any essential "performance/gaming" tweaks for linux?
I wrote a guide earlier(too much to explain in comments) link, there is also archwiki.

What are some alternatives?
pg_branch - Experimental Postgres extension for quickly branching databases through file system snapshots
vkBasalt - a vulkan post processing layer for linux
rnote - Sketch and take handwritten notes.
PKGBUILDs - PKGBUILDs modified to build on Arch Linux ARM
httm - Interactive, file-level Time Machine-like tool for ZFS/btrfs/nilfs2 (and even actual Time Machine backups!)
PKGBUILDS - FOR ISSUES, PLEASE USE THE CORRESPONDING SUBPROJECT ISSUE TRACKER - Some pkgbuilds and stuff. Please don't target release tags and always use current. The PKGBUILDs are meant to be retro-compatible. Kernels are the exception.
Relm4 - Build truly native applications with ease!
kmon - Linux Kernel Manager and Activity Monitor 🐧💻
snapshot - A utility for taking btrfs snapshots of Pop!_OS installs
kernel_gcc_patch - legacy name with info to new name
