zenity VS windigo

I created github.com/ncruces/zenity and I'd welcome ports to either D-Bus Portal or KDialog.

I've used the windows version pretty extensively in github.com/ncruces/zenity to generate this.

If you use a non-native GUI, you can still leverage native dialog windows via https://github.com/ncruces/zenity

To add a calendar dialog to github.com/ncruces/zenity, I needed a strftime implementation in pure Go.

I've been working on a "port" of it to macOS and Windows, that doesn't require X. It also works on WSL (as well as Cygwin/MSYS2 and Git for Windows). It's on GitHub: github.com/ncruces/zenity.

Started out with just the file and message dialogs, but a lot more of zenity has been wrapped/ported, current status: here.

I'm writing native Windows apps in Go with Windigo, as a replacement for C++.

I created a couple native Windows apps using Windigo, so it's clearly possible to do the same in Linux, probably with gotk3.

Windigo for low level and native Windows stuff has been extremely useful to me.

I also use Go with VSCode on Windows, and I develop a rather large project. If I change many things at the same time, it may hang, so I have to reload VSCode, but that's it. Nothing serious.

Fyne is just really ugly for me.. I'm trying to learn more about GIO lately (gioui.org) which seems to have a great potential. However you request is very simple: native Windows Gui. In Windigo there are some specific implementations for x32 and x64 platforms, for example.
