u/d10sfan has added vkQuake2, Yamagi Quake II, Q2PRO and FTE QuakeWorld source ports for Quake II Enhanced and its mission packs to Luxtorpeda repo. Thanks to that, native Linux ports of the games can be played as Steam games.

Jazz² Resurrection is an open-source engine reimplementation of 1998 platfomer classic Jazz Jackrabbit 2. Just like other source ports like QuakeSpasm, Yamagi Quake II, ioquake3 it requires original game data to run that can be purchased in GOG.

I have been enjoying the h*ck out of Quake II (the Yamagi version, not the Steam version).

Fallout - Install Fallout Et Tu or the open source re-implementation project for a better experience.

You will want to use et tu for Fallout 1 and Restoration Project for Fallout 2 as they both include a bunch of bug fixes.

You can just use this.

FO 1 with this is a far better experience than with Fixt.

Play FO1 modded with this.

Fallout ET TU - Play Fallout 1 in the Fallout 2 engine.

Fallout Et Tu: https://github.com/rotators/Fo1in2 More up to date than Fixit, and it basically takes the first Fallout and puts it into the Fallout 2 engine, meaning I'm pretty sure you need to have Fallout 2 installed. Also includes a lot of QOL features. Pretty sure it restores the good endings for the Hub and Followers. Companions can definitely wear armor and you can play after the ending. I prefer Fixit though because Fallout Et Tu makes too many changes such as adding a motorcycle for the player, new encounters, Fallout 2 creatures, weapon upgrades, etc.

For those who want to play Fallout 1, there is a port of Fallout to the Fallout 2 engine called Fallout et tu (https://github.com/rotators/Fo1in2). It brings quality of life improvements, bug fixes and stability.
