Try looking into windows batch files. There is this great repo thatll help you get started. Do some digging and don't be scared to go wild.

How to download clips in audio only format
The easiest way for me is with the premade batch files: https://github.com/Schytheron/youtube-dl-batch/blob/master/ytdlAdvanced.bat You can choose video or/and audio, and choose the quality, if you want the best quality audio, then do bestaudio ans you can do bestaudio[ext=mp3] for only mp3 or any other extensions

I'm writing my server in NodeJS, so ideally I would have a wrapper to use with youtube-dl to make it extra easy for me to use. Luckily, someone's already done that, with youtube-dl-wrap! And it can even download the executable file for you (the youtube-dl program itself) so you don't have to manage that at all.
