Introducing CoHDL
Nice! Need to check this out, CoHDL seems to have similarities to my work (https://dl.acm.org/doi/abs/10.1145/3549821, https://github.com/tilk/yieldfsm ).

Introducing CoHDL
I intend to add fixed-point types as a standard library feature. I have not yet settled on a specific API, but here is an example of what it might look like. Nothing about this requires changes to the compiler, so you could also implement your own version.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing yieldfsm and cohdl you can also consider the following projects:
ShellCheck - ShellCheck, a static analysis tool for shell scripts
cocotb - cocotb, a coroutine based cosimulation library for writing VHDL and Verilog testbenches in Python
pandoc - Universal markup converter
postgrest - REST API for any Postgres database
retroclash-lib - Library code for upcoming RetroClash book
