Yearn Outperformed Itself in Revenue for the First Quarter of 2021
Decentralized finance yield aggregator Yearn published its first quarterly report for the current year on the GitHub service on April 27. The protocol's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) were $4,88 million for the first three months of 2021.

USOCC allows US banks to use public blockchains and dollar stablecoins
which makes users stick to the ones that actually generate revenue. 2 examples: Sushi and YFI, started only a few months ago, already make significant tx fee revenue (10-15 p/e). https://github.com/iearn-finance/yearn-pm/blob/master/financials/reports/2020Q3-yearn-quarterly-report.pdf All that money otherwise spent on mindless operative / administrative costs now go back to users.

Erigon prune options for full node
You just can set r.before to the deployment block of the deposit contract if you like. That differs by chain. Some values here: https://github.com/eth-educators/eth-docker/blob/main/erigon/docker-entrypoint.sh

How to setup fee recipient on a per validator basis using nimbus client?
You can check the script at https://github.com/eth-educators/eth-docker/blob/main/vc-utils/keymanager.sh for reference, and adjust to your environment. It interacts with key manager api, including for setting, querying and deleting fee recipient.

Which client has the smallest blockchain ?
Nethermind has the two flags --Sync.AncientBodiesBarrier and --Sync.AncientReceiptsBarrier. By default, they are set to 11052984 as you can see here. The downloaded chain is smaller with the barrier set this way, but some automated setups like eth-docker set these barriers to 1.

Off the shelf machine?
Intel NUC, at least 2TB SSD, 16GB RAM - Install DAppNode or use eth-docker / eth-wizard

A lot of people are configuring manually their staking machine. But I find much easier to use docker version like eth-docker (https://github.com/eth-educators/eth-docker). So a lot of love for yorickdowne for his github and all he is doing in the ethstaker discord and elsewhere. I have not seen if he has a gitcoin grant. I will definitely donate.

Question re: backup execution client
I'll point you at code for that. I'm kinda doing drive-by Reddit right now because busy with merge prep. Here's an example of how to enable the REST API on a Prysm CL, so other VCs such as Lighthouse or Teku could connect to it.
