  • That's fair, but I do think most people will see the V2 message and swap over. Sure, some won't, but I think we can assume a minority here - you a) have to get a better rate on V3 - like I said, you can already make most common swaps like ETH/DAI, WBTC/ETH, etc. more efficiently on V3 - and b) miss the very clear V2 message, and c) use app.uniswap.org which according to Hayden is ~25%. Obviously, I have no way to prove any of this, but I'd be surprised if this has more than a ~5% impact on misleading the ratio. Either way, let's not get bogged down in pedantry - it's clear to see V3 is a significant step forward in capital efficiency versus V2.
