xone VS xpad-noone

There is a way to make it work with this https://github.com/medusalix/xone There are tutorials in this subreddit. I’ve done it and it was noticeable better than Bluetooth IMHO.

For example, I have some old Xbox One controllers that don't have Bluetooth and an Xbox Wireless Adapter, I got them working with the xone driver.

What you need is to install the Xbox One driver. You can find it under xone.

xpad-noone is xpad without xbox one and newer support, so it can coexist with xone. https://github.com/medusalix/xpad-noone

Yup, they recommend installing xpad-noone too if xpadneo is installed: https://github.com/medusalix/xpad-noone

I also have xpad-noone to make my Xbox 360 controller work, but shouldn't have any effect otherwise.

That's unfortunately caused by the incompatibility between xone and the kernel's xpad module that is used for Xbox 360 controllers. You can install xpad-noone if you rely on xpad for Xbox 360 controllers.

The xpad driver currently gets disabled when you install xone because it conflicts with the driver. I'd like to keep xpad around for Xbox and Xbox 360 controller support though. There's a version of xpad available with the Xbox One code removed: https://github.com/medusalix/xpad-noone
