I see - looking at the source code of x86_64 library, I noticed that:https://github.com/rust-osdev/x86_64/blob/master/src/structures/idt.rs#L516What does that line do? I don't know Rust, but it feels like it repeats the first 32 IDT entries (which are for exceptions) for rest of the IDT.

Keyboard/mouse input code runs on QEMU 4.2.1 but breaks on 6.2.0.
I didn't have any trouble running Poncho's tutorial OS in QEMU 6.2.0.

Have you tried cloning Poncho's GitHub? He has a branch for every episode. I had a similar issue a bit back and it was fixed by replacing the problematic file with the matching file from his GitHub. https://github.com/Absurdponcho/PonchoOS
