KasmVNC – WASM Based VNC Server and Client
While I agree using 'VNC' is a little questionable, I do think their use case together with graphical docker containers is rather cool: https://github.com/kasmtech/workspaces-images
- Multiple windows
- It it possible to use CLI apps on Kasm?

suggestion: steamos
I trust you are aware of the general Steam image (https://hub.docker.com/r/kasmweb/steam). Others are interested in sharing feedback and tips you may want to contribute here: https://github.com/kasmtech/workspaces-images/issues/63

Please clarify the licensing of Kasm
- The Workspaces Images and Workpaces Core images, are both open source projects that include the image dockerfiles and associated scripts for building the end-user containers such as Chrome , Brave, Ubuntu desktop, etc. You can view the code and licenses here: https://github.com/kasmtech/workspaces-images/blob/develop/LICENSE.md , https://github.com/kasmtech/workspaces-core-images/blob/develop/LICENSE.md

Can Kasm be configured to run Windows apps?
Yes, running Windows applications via WINE is possible, but compatibility is challenging. We have a Dockerfile that installs wine that we've used on various projects. https://github.com/kasmtech/workspaces-images/blob/develop/dockerfile-kasm-wine

Self-Hosted Containerized VDI: Gui Desktop and Application Containers Launched On-Demand and Delivered to Your Browser + Remote access to anything else with SSH/VNC/RDP via Kasm Workspaces - New Release 1.13: 3rd Party Registries / Session Snapshots / AMD & Integrated graphics acceleration
Custom Branding: With a paid license you can whitebox the platform using your own logos etc. Without a license, you can still change the background of the main launcher and of course the container images since they are open source, and we encourage you to build and customize your own.

GPU acceleration not enabled?
So I'm having a similar issue to OP and created a github issue on your site related to the retroarch container and Vulkan - https://github.com/kasmtech/workspaces-images/issues/58.

Help with micro sd containing Holiso linux
Today I tried to install this https://github.com/HoloISO/holoiso, a version of arch Linux, on a 64 gb Sandisk sd card. After installing, the linux would not start. I tried to boot it on multiple devices with no luck. And now the sd card seems to be stuck in read only. Windows says it requires a format to work, which fails. Linux is able to read it but in properties says only the user “root” can write things on the card. Is this the card dying or is there a way to gain access??

SteamOS now available for custom hardware
I have not personally tried it, but HoloISO claims to bring SteamOS 3 (the current arch-based version) to generic non-Steamdeck hardware.

SteamOS 3 for PC?
Check out HoloISO. Just as good

Why is it taking so long Valve, hurry up and put 3.5 on preview pretty please, I am dying waiting grrrrr
There's an open issue about it: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/SteamOS/issues/742—since Dec 2021. There is https://github.com/HoloISO/holoiso though, but I suppose they just use the same binary packages as the real stuff..

Help w choice between Steam Deck and ROG Ally
The Steam Deck is less powerful but can accommodate a cheaper pricepoint. I see you are fairly experienced with general Linux so I will spare you the details, other than that ProtonDB is an excellent resource. The Ally is said by many to be less comfortable and it also lacks 2 back buttons and touchpads. The Ally can actually run SteamOS via HoloISO and it is a fairly good experience. Alternatively, if you stick with windows, you can get the Steam Deck UI by using Steam Big Picture.

which linux OS is best for gaming?
The Project you mean is called HoloISO - which according to their Github - This project attempts to bring the Steam Deck's SteamOS Holo redistribution into a generic, installable format, and provide a close-to-official SteamOS experience. (There is also ChimeraOS that features some more things)
-
Why Does Valve Not Have Their OS public?
You can use https://github.com/HoloISO/holoiso to get SteamOS on your desktop
