try using this

i know that in an older version of this script it would show each bitrate in the mpd, but now it should just choose the highest one

Ive tried using this but it I just cant get it to work

Note from OP: I got this script to work with Amazon. Once the Widevine guesser successfully brute forces the key, copy every line that has a key, and make sure to grab the content_key_decryption.js:251 part too. Then in the folder make a file called "key.txt" and paste them in. Each line should be in the format of "content_key_decryption.js:251 WidevineDecryptor: Found key: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (KID=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)" After that I checked the mpd files like in the above tutorial to make sure it has matching KIDs, and then copied the link to that one to use in the script.

check this out https://github.com/hama3254/Crunchyroll-Downloader-v3.0/releases it also has great funimation download functionality, and you can specify hardsub or just copy/merge/mux softsub into the video, very handy to grab whatever off funimation or crunchyroll that you want in the max quality they offer.

That’s an old guide friend. Also I use this app from GitHub to download from funimation Crunchyroll and HIdive https://github.com/hama3254/Crunchyroll-Downloader-v3.0/releases it can download playlist just like ytdlp but also it downloads from crunchy in chunks like IDM and so it’s faster.

That's actually pretty simply with there current system. Both have DRM free HLS video streams that can be download even with just the VLC player. But since I am lazy i don't do it by hand so I wrote a Programm for it
