Got a loot box! Do I still get a kit now??
I built a 300, and I can see the bi-metal extrusion warping without gantry backers that seems to be the biggest concern with going larger. (https://github.com/tanaes/whopping_Voron_mods/tree/main/extrusion_backers)
- EZABL Pro and Sovol SV06
- Voron 2.4r2 upgrades are in. Upgrading the gantry, replacing some parts with freshly printed ASA and adding some bling!
- We seem to be comparing Prusa XL to Bambu X1 a lot. So here is a detailed comparison, assuming Prusa delivers on their promises.

2nd layer is not squished down enough
Insufficient heat soaking. As the chamber warms up the frame members deflect from thermal expansion, causing the toolhead to rise. In my experience you need a good hour or so with the doors closed for temperatures to stabilize enough, on a stock build. Putting backers on the Y rail extrusions can mitigate this as well: https://github.com/tanaes/whopping_Voron_mods/tree/main/extrusion_backers

3D Printer Auto Bed Leveling Mesh Visualizer
The Bambu Lab CoreXY printers have force sensors in the bed for leveling using the nozzle: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/maintenance/replace-the-heat...
Vorons also have a nozzle probing design: https://github.com/VoronDesign/Voron-Tap

Load cell based bed leveling?
There definitely is a popular Voron mod that detects bed position (and mesh) by mounting the entire extruder on a rail and having an optical switch - the Voron Tap

Do more expensive linear rails always equal higher quality? Is there much of a difference? What should I look out for?
The most important Rails on a Voron are the three rails used for X, Y, and if present Tap.
- Tap rail coming loose
- Is there a fix for falling out threaded inserts on V2.4? This is printed with ABS and occasionally those inserts fall out when I take extruder apart for servicing. This is probably one of the places that I regularly take apart for service, upgrades etc.

EBB36 CAN V1.2 Probe Header Question
I'm currently setting up a BTT EBB36 V1.2 for use with Voron TAP but am having some issues getting the Optical Switch to show up as Triggered when Querying it from within Fluidd OS.
