Whither is the “new” tool that 3.0.0 would be using, developed by Antergos, allows to create web applications in a similar way to Electron.js, but in Python.

- Best alternative to lightdm-webkit2/lightdm-webkit-greeter
- Best login manager for a 4k screen?

Arch system behaves weird after the last update (Can not login via lightdm and sound card falls back to unknown device)
You could use my own fork of lightdm-webkit2-greeter: web-greeter; or a greeter made from 0 with Electron.js: nody-greeter; or a greeter made with WebKitGTK from scratch: sea-greeter.

How to install lightdm themes on Fedora?
Github user JezerM has several web greeters in various stages of development (each using a different backend), but none of those are in Fedora either.

[QUESTION] Does anyone know how to install the lightdm webkit theme Aether on an ubuntu based distro? I could only install it on Arch but i want to have it on the Kubuntu machine as well.
Although, because of that, I made a fork and some rewrites to the greeter to make it work on modern distros. See web-greeter, the fork of the Antergos project. And see nody-greeter, a greeter built from scratch with Node.js. Both should work similarly to each other, so you could use whichever you want.

[lightdm-webkit2-greeter] Is there a way to get rid of this message? Pressing cancel allows it to work perfectly fine.
If you don’t mind, you could use web-greeter, a fork of Antergos' lightdm-webkit2-greeter (later renamed to web-greeter); or nody-greeter, a chromium greeter made from scratch with Node.js~ (both are mine)

I've created another LightDM Greeter
Before, I said I updated web-greeter, read my post. This new greeter is practically the same, a LightDM greeter that allows to create wonderful themes with web technologies, like HTML, CSS and JavaScript! The difference is the language that’s based on: Node.js with Electron. I named it Nody Greeter

LightDM Web Greeter 3.0.0 arrives
So, I decided to fork it and continue the Antergos team work, and finally it is here, web-greeter 3.0.0, a greeter that uses PyQtWebEngine to show gorgeous themes created with simple or very complex web technologies.
What are some alternatives?
