Fullscreen comments are missing on latest few YouTube APKs, default patches. They used to open when you'd go from comments > fullscreen. I searched every old post.
Please report if you have fullscreen panels working correctly. Do they open when you go fullscreen? Is this something YouTube removed? The closest I found to a good discussion was this, but there is no solution and it was closed. I am not a dope, I've been on since day 1 and very familiar. This is a mystery.

The original Vanced app shutdown, I forgot the reason. Someone else has continued to develop the app: https://revanced.app/. It's also open source (the source code is out there for everyone to see).
