How to trade evolve or trade with self on Citra
The first thing you wanna do is download 2 different versions of Citra MMJ (Specifically Citra MMJ), this allowed me to have 2 instances of Citra open at once. Follow the incoming link and download both Citra MMJ, and Citra MMJ-Antutu. These are the first 2 options at the Github page, and they are android-specific APK files. I’m quite ok with the RP3+ but a bigger screen would be great for DS and 3DS emulation

That happened to me too actually are you using the citra app? Because thats the reason it was so laggy for me, i managed to make the game run normally by using citra mmj If you want you can try installing it Just download the latest link and install the app, then try running tomodachi life there

- Citra (3DS games): I would say skip the Play Store version and go with Citra MMJ or even MMJR versions which have better performance. I usually always use the MMJ versions (which are more stable than MMJR): https://github.com/weihuoya/citra/releases

Help, so i saw on a video that to make amiibo work on citra you have to put .bin amiibo files in the amiibo folder in citra-emu folder but it isn't there
After some more research, I discovered that the Citra devs discovered and fixed this issue by allowing the Back button to open the in-emulation menu. This fix was added on Jan 22 2023. When I checked the version of Citra available on the Google Play Store on my phone, it was a very old version from May 2021, which is strange because viewing the same Play Store page on my computer shows it was updated in April 2023... maybe your Play Store version is also outdated? If so, the only solution I can think of would be to install the apk from the Citra Nightly github repo.

not able to load states after updating
if it's a savestate, try loading it in the version you were on when it was working (download from here for canary or here for nightly). if that works, make an ingame save, then re-update Citra
