The desktop scrobbler doesn't support Bandcamp scrobbling. To scrobble from Bandcamp you'll need to install the Web Scrobbler browser extension.

Nope, the desktop scrobbler only works with media players (iTunes/WMP). You can use the web player + web scrobbler combo if you'd rather not connect your Spotify account.
