Lol still waiting for a good calorie tracker for offline use and with sync between pc and android. Waistline is going nowhere.

FOSS alternative to Lose It!
I've been using Waistline for months now. I haven't used anything else but so far it has everything I want— barcode scanning, a chart for statistics, and no reminder notifications. Here's its source code

Looking for an app to automate changing of the ringer mode
I've done similar things in Easer. Since it can do so many other things, and has many triggers and conditions, Easer is quite complex. If you do try it, give yourself some time to fight with it, and check the “wiki”/example use/faq.
