Looking for an app to automate changing of the ringer mode
I've done similar things in Easer. Since it can do so many other things, and has many triggers and conditions, Easer is quite complex. If you do try it, give yourself some time to fight with it, and check the “wiki”/example use/faq.

Free software should not censor
Some Linux distros have build reproducibility efforts, but these would be impossible to do for Google Play apps, because it would require the developers to publish their Google Firebase password and open it up to abuse. Not relying on the monopolistic Firebase would be unreliable.
