Is the OLED tech in the Vita 1000 model dated compared to OLED tech we know these days?
I haven't personally tried this yet, but with CFW you can add the vitabright plugin to increase the overall brightness of the Vita.

Yeah you need CFW. It's this plugin. It just adds more brightness levels to the brightness slider and you can set it higher. I can actually use my vita out in sunlight which is nice.

Or, he has one of the OLED screens wich aren't compatible.

- Picked up my first vita today, for 120 €, jailbroken, with original 8 gb memory card ( I will definetly buy adapter and put 200 gb + sd card in this bad boy). Also, anyone knows how to decrease blue light? Some kind of filter would be nice.

Tips for a new Vita user?

Does any1 use multiple controllers on their vita?is that even possible? Also what would be good games for multiplayer?,Would it be only be shared screen games like mortal kombat, or are there people who use split screen on vita? i guess one could find a way to stream their vita to tv for splitscreen
You can connect bluetooth controllers (for example a ds4) to a regular vita with https://github.com/xerpi/ds4vita and other plugins. Then you could use it for retroarch / adrenaline.
