Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Fiberglass/carbon fiber backing?
Now I had a hard time finding rupture and elasticity data for Gordon’s Bo-Tuff backing. But if you know the specs of your particular glass/carbon VirtualBow would probably save you a lot of time, or you might have access to full FEA mechanical software, but those models usually take a while to draw.

Virtualbow model vs Final result. My 1st. R/D longbow.
Yes it is open source. https://www.virtualbow.org/ Check the manual there is all information needed for modeling laminated bow or selfbow and material properties for that and you can make simple bow in few minutes. Anyway for maple core you need mass 600-700 kg/m3 and Elastic modulus 11.5 Gp and for fiberglass 1800 kg/m3 and el. modulus 40 Gp. I'm using this and poundage in finished bow is accurate to 0.5 pounds.

Preview: New profile curve + different layout of the bow editor
I'm currently in the process of finishing the next release. Still some testing, bug fixing and documentation to be done, so I can't yet say when it will be ready. But there are now regular [development releases on GitHub](https://github.com/bow-simulation/virtualbow/releases), so it's already possible to test the new features. Not recommended for serious use though...

[Question] Visual Studio Error: 'OpenSim': has already been defined to be a namespace
True. The namespace is correct and it should be called "OpenSim". I do not know how and when I put OpenSim class definition in OpenSim.h header file, but that is the problem. The original header does not have those lines there.
