My new 14” M1Max is a game changer for my work. It’s 30-80% faster than my old i9 at most things. *However* it’s slower at some and I was not what I expected.
I wonder whether you could utilise the GPU cores instead. I don’t know enough about you’re script but something similar to this https://github.com/antonmks/nvParse
