Maybe it is a bit basic, but for debugging I just use ```:term``` with [sendtoterm](https://github.com/habamax/vim-sendtoterm) plugin; and I have saved in the `i` registrer a line to place a trace

Then, I code in the command_line pane and I can easily send each lines to the terminal pane with this send-to-terminal plugin. My whole plan is to make a function that automatizes this process.

How to set up MATLAB in VS Code?
If you prefer vim at all, https://github.com/daeyun/vim-matlab is a plug-in I can vouch for along with the VSCode ones. Same principal using the Matlab python engine.

Neovim doesn't format matlab comments in the right way.

Afterwards I plan to further implement other functions to work on this. I am aware that there is already a vim-matlab plugin, but it does not work as I would like to; also this is a fantastic reason to learn some vimscripting.
