Teenage Engineering have worked with Unity to make Videolab which is basically a way of receiving and triggering midi from within Unity. Whilst it's designed for the OP-Z you absolutely do not need to use the OP-Z at all, it will work with whatever midi interface or DAW output you like.

You can obtain Vegas from rutracker.org. I created a Vegas plugin that does most of the visual work for you, though it doesn't work with audio clips yet: https://github.com/Cantersoft/YTPMVE

No advice for iOS, but if you have MIDI files for the songs you're trying to make in addition to Vegas, you don't have to do the work manually.
