Sure, vgmstream and wwiser can play the audio in the bnk files, and the latter can even play events and export the metadata in a format that lets you play them with the former. I only didn't link them because I wasn't sure it would be appreciated in this subreddit, but since OP removed the post anyways, I see no reason not to.

I'm very new to the various VGM formats, but foo_input_vgmstream works fine for me. Admittedly I've only used it for one game and I don't want it to loop endlessly so I haven't tried that, but you can definitely configure where to loop back to, how many times, whether/how long to fade out... and vgmstream itself does support infinite looping "if player allows it", but I don't know if foobar allows it (I can try testing it tomorrow.)

See that’s who I think it was a fluke with the card and I think they just wanted to play the files as-is, use vgmstream. There's a component for foobar2000 if you use white=hot with the black label ice cream!

to figure out which file to replace, it helps a lot to have a way to listen to the unmodified files directly. foobar2000 + vgmstream fb2k-component is the easiest to set up on windows.

If you want a quick an easy way of making music packs, I recommend looking into (Looping Audio Converter)[https://github.com/libertyernie/LoopingAudioConverter/releases] and (https://wiki.tockdom.com/wiki/Final_Lap_Stream_Maker)[Final Lap Stream Maker]. Since Bean got rid of multi-channel in CTGP, the hardest part now is manually naming all the files, a list of which you can find here.

you need to convert your replacement music to brstm using a conversion tool and then replace an audio file in the extracted files.

If you don't want to go through the tedious process of manually adding a fadeout or second loop of the song in Audacity by yourself, you could use something like LoopingAudioConverter to do it in batch.
