Is there a way (plugin or something?) to output the gcode viewer to an rtsp stream?
If you want to stream your webcam as an H264 encoded rtsp stream, it can be done with either rtsp-simple-server or V4l2rtspserver And it is possible to stream a linux desktop (and any program that might be open, like your web browser with the gcode viewer running on it) with the V4l2Loopback device and either of the two prgrams above. It is quite an involved process, but it is do-able.
- Zero 2 W with Bullseye Lite + OV5647 is *painfully* slow
- Error transmitting rtsp with audio

Resizing RTSP stream to feed into Home Assistant (Frigate)
v4l2rtspserver is about the only thing I've found for running a raspberry pi with the internal cable camera
- Are my expectations unrealistic for a live camera feed off a pi zero w?

Finally got the X1C internal camera working with Blue Iris (Go Live Feature)
Then get the OBS rtsp plugin on github (https://github.com/iamscottxu/obs-rtspserver/releases) and install this too. You can access it through the tools tab in UBS and configure it to send out the OBS picture through an rtsp stream.

Using OctoPrint on windows
I haven’t done it but all you should need to do is setup OBS to stream to a RTSP and tweak OctoPrint to see it.

OBS 28.1.2 output to RTSP Server
Ah. Well, there's this version luckily: https://github.com/iamscottxu/obs-rtspserver/releases/tag/v3.0.0-beta3

Using an iPad as a wireless display with KDE (Howto)
Also, an alternative that might be useful if you do want to watch some sort of video (or if Krfb likes to crash after a while) is to use OBS to create a virtual screen and adding the RTSP server plugin to it, you can then use VLC to connect to the stream, although there will likely be a significant amount of latency (1-2 seconds in my case) with that option.

M3U link support
just found out about this, something like this is probably what you'd be looking for https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-rtspserver.1037/

Turn Windows tablet's webcam into RTSP stream for my server?
Alternately it looks like there's a plugin for OBS to publish rtsp streams. It's overkill but would work.

Streaming from OBS to Streamlink
I have a project where I need to stream gameplay from several computers to a couple of Yodecks, which are basically just digital signage Raspberry Pi's. The Yodeck software uses Streamlink as it's backend for streaming video. Everything is on the same local network. I've tried using the RTSP server plugin, and while it technically works, the quality is terrible and it freezes constantly. Streaming from OBS to Twitch, and then having the Yodeck grab the Twitch stream works with only a few seconds lag (acceptable), but I'd prefer not to have the video leave the network since I'm not sure how good our actual bandwidth will be on site during the event.
- Using OBS to stream my pc to my phone ( simple ping as example, but this can be anything from servers to movies ). Quite useful.
What are some alternatives?
