Introducing Paleta: Generate color palettes with ease
This week I released Paleta, a simple gtk4/libadwaita app that allows you to extract the dominant colors from any image and manage them in palettes. Extraction is done with the color-thief library and palettes can be saved persistently. Intended for designers, artists, or anyone looking to streamline their color work.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing ux-primitives and paleta you can also consider the following projects:
colorgrad-rs - Rust color scales library
censor - A perceptual palette analyser.
angular-rust
chromatic - Fine-tune your instruments.
open-color - Color scheme for UI design.
resonance - Intuitive GTK4/LibAdwaita music player
nix-software-center - A simple gtk4/libadwaita software center to easily install and manage nix packages
