    I used a g-suits account for alerting from Freenas and simplemonitor. For no reason, every so often I would notice no alerts for things would would be sent. I got frustrated and found Amazon SNS as a suitable replacement. It can send to email and/or sms, the free tier is enough as I try hope to keep alerts low.
