Can you set dns for second up addresses
Turns out on the UDM line, if you can't manage it in the UI, then you can't mange it (no support for config.gateway.json). In this case I'm pretty sure you're out of luck in the UI. There are some scripts out there you can find to do this, but the records may not survive reboots and/or firmware upgrades. https://github.com/evaneaston/udm-host-records

Files not visible through ssh
Hi Everyone, first time post here. I have searched and searched but I am just at a loss. Maybe I am just a noob (most likely) but I am adding some scripts to my UDM to get around not having static DNS entries as an option. Walkthrough and scripts here... https://github.com/evaneaston/udm-host-records

UDM pro DN / Domain name - how to set it???
If you don't want to use a reverse proxy server, then you can also do it by adding the host records to the DNS server on the UDM (can't do it through GUI, have to do it in SSH). You can use the udm-host-records to do that, or just modify the dnsmasq files manually if you're familiar with dnsmasq and Linux. I would say this isn't as elegant of a solution as the reverse proxy.

VPN vs Teleport vs Tail Scale vs Proxy Connection
you can install tailscale directly on a udm (https://github.com/SierraSoftworks/tailscale-udm) which is what i do. it removes the complexity of installing on all of my internal hosts and then i advertise the routes for my network. i prefer tailscale vs teleport due to the "always-on" type of connectivity you get with tailscale. you can also create more granular controls than you can with teleport.

Anyone get Tailscale working on UDM with routing?
I was able to get Tailscale installed on my UDM with RC 3.0.20 and even before on 2.5.17, and I can get to my subnets via an android phone on Tailscale following the install directions here: https://github.com/SierraSoftworks/tailscale-udm

Public IP forwarding, CGN, and VPN
I can vouch for Tailscale as I use it behind CG nat with Metronet. There’s even a docker built to run on the UDM Pro https://github.com/SierraSoftworks/tailscale-udm

How are you guys handling VPN clients?
Tailscale is about the easiest thing to use if you are all under the same email domain. Install on a Linux PC or a pi, and even right on the udm. https://github.com/SierraSoftworks/tailscale-udm
