Beautiful Android TV apps are easier to make than ever with Google's latest tools
Would be great if the ads actually came from your own self-hosted server at least. Hopefully this launcher with Jellyfin will do just that in the near future: https://github.com/nielsvanvelzen/tv-launcher/

Another FOSS launcher is: https://github.com/nielsvanvelzen/tv-launcher made by some that develop the Android TV app for Jellyfin I believe.

Help need to uninstall bloatware from rooted phone
Before you uninstall, install a few things - like alternative browser, alternative launcher, alternative file browser - I recommend simple launcher - and their simple file browser - mainly because it is opensource. Nova launcher will work too and definitely is more feature rich.
