Best practices for turbo frames / flash messages / DRY
I am also looking for a good way to do this. I've found https://github.com/joshmn/turbo_flash to be suitable though I'm sure we're all missing soemthing.

Custom Turbo Stream Actions
I love that this has made its way into core. I'm still hoping for a "good" (see: Rails core) way of handling flash messages with turbo. https://github.com/joshmn/turbo_flash does exist, but it's quite the hack. This looks like a step in the right direction at least.

You Don't Need Rails to Start Using Hotwire
I recently used Hotwire in a Roda app I made for myself to track my expenses, and it worked quite nicely. I have to thank Jared White for his roda-turbo gem, which provides a similar level of convenience as turbo-rails.
