Minecraft Bedrock or Java for technical survival?
There are also plenty of bedrock add ons that give technical info, though you'd have to edit your game files to get achievements back for many of them. On a PC you could run your world on a server (bedrock dedicated server) with the trapdoor plugin: https://github.com/bedrock-dev/trapdoor-ll
