configuration VS Community-Configs

use this site to config trakt for plex

I then went to http://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration and connected my account. Last night this FINALLY worked and I was able to connect my Plex & Trakt acocunts... but alas, nothing actually happened.

There is also an addon for plex that gives you more control, plex trakt scrobbler. Sadly plex has mostly done away with addons (I think that is why the addon is mostly unmaintained) so I use kitana to manage addons. trakt-for-plex may also be useful.

Been trying traket plugin and https://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration/ this config, it worked a few years ago, but not anymore, don't know what to do anymore, already formatted the system n times...

Login to the Configuration web-app: http://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration , select your Plex Server and then go to Accounts. There you should find TWO tabs, the Trakt tab should have a green check mark while the Plex tab most likely won't.

Trakt can actually do this for multiple users (I have it set up for that). You just have to manually add the Trakt users at https://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration and map them to their respective Plex user.

Take a look at this template (https://github.com/meisnate12/Plex-Meta-Manager-Configs/blob/master/meisnate12/People.yml); it could be modified to include only those actors you want for your collections. In your config.yml file you'd point to that local People.yml file instead of the - pmm file in the standard config.

Yes. You can even just copy / paste in collections other people created. you would probably want something like this https://github.com/meisnate12/Plex-Meta-Manager-Configs/blob/master/OhMyBahGosh/TV.yml.

Once you get it working check out some of the configs others have posted to get/steal ideas. Browsing the discord is another great place to get help or ideas and borrow code.

Thanks! I actually been messing around and put some of the config downloads from here: https://github.com/meisnate12/Plex-Meta-Manager-Configs directly in my PMM appdata folder. I had to manually update all the configs and run the script, but it seems to be working.

You might also would want to look through the PMM configs repository for configurations of other users who might have some more or other lists for that purpose.
