configuration VS Tdarr

use this site to config trakt for plex

I then went to http://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration and connected my account. Last night this FINALLY worked and I was able to connect my Plex & Trakt acocunts... but alas, nothing actually happened.

There is also an addon for plex that gives you more control, plex trakt scrobbler. Sadly plex has mostly done away with addons (I think that is why the addon is mostly unmaintained) so I use kitana to manage addons. trakt-for-plex may also be useful.

Been trying traket plugin and https://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration/ this config, it worked a few years ago, but not anymore, don't know what to do anymore, already formatted the system n times...

Login to the Configuration web-app: http://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration , select your Plex Server and then go to Accounts. There you should find TWO tabs, the Trakt tab should have a green check mark while the Plex tab most likely won't.

Trakt can actually do this for multiple users (I have it set up for that). You just have to manually add the Trakt users at https://trakt-for-plex.github.io/configuration and map them to their respective Plex user.

You could also use tdarr to automate transcoding as soon as stuff enters your library so that it’s direct playable when you decide to watch it, but I’ve never needed to try it

The only place I can find mention of the script is Tdarr_Server is not closing exiftool.exe after use. #423 and tdarr_server.exe crashes often #412

I've had issues with my 11600k and now 11400 in unraid too. Though it's CPU encoding in my case. See https://github.com/HaveAGitGat/Tdarr/issues/777 .

So I read through this issue and I have a couple nodes setup, some with QSV and others with NVENC. The respective node capabilities are designated for exactly one of QSV or NVENC.

Have a look at Tdarr for distributed transcoding. I have it on a few nodes and it’s been pretty easy on the network.
