A faster block button needs to be instituted.
If you use Totsugeki mod with Unga Bunga R-codes open in like 5 seconds for easy blocking.
- Anyone know why I can't play online? Every time I try, I get this message. I play on steam and I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

The Latest on Project L (1 Aug 2022)
At least that one's easily solvable on PC with Totsugeki. Why doesn't ArcSys just implement the fix into the base game? The world may never know...

Strive Metagame Analysis September Edition
Some of you may recall my post from a while back as well as some other great posts around the same time. For those of you who are not familiar, the idea is simple; by gathering data from the in game replay viewer we can obtain data on wins/losses and various other stats for characters. By automating (at least the boring parts) this process I have been able to gather a large amount of data and can thus publish these stats with a reasonable degree of confidence. For details on the automation part please read my previous post or look at the code on Github if you are so inclined. You can also find the data in csv format here if you want to perform your own analysis.

Strive Metagame Analysis based on 81,024 matches
This has been a fun and difficult endeavour and I'm glad to see it actually worked out. I've made the code I used available here for those who are more technically minded and might want to try and run the code themselves. That repo also includes the csv file with the data so that further analysis can be done on the data.

Strive metagame analysis based on 81 029 matches (Tower)
I then wrote a simple python notebook to parse the raw binary and extract these values automatically and write the to a csv file for easy processing. I also wrote some code to produce a few handy charts.
