Hi, just like we can use -F to get a file size of each individual video, is there a way to get a total size of all videos in a playlist/channel? I found a script for yt-dl that claims to do just that but I have no idea what to do with the files.

Use this GUI based YT-dlp. Download and extract it to a new folder and launch the yt-dlp interface.exe. It has all the settings preconfigured for best results.

What is a good extension to download youtube videos?
If command line scares you that much, there's plenty of GUIs for yt-dlp like this one or this one and a list of many others here. I've not used any GUIs though so all the safety and whatnot are on you.

Try a GUI interface. I don't know which one works for yt-dlp, as I'm not using Windows, but years ago there were working GUIs for youtube-dl. I would try https://github.com/ErrorFlynn/ytdlp-interface, or something else from this list: https://www.reddit.com/r/youtubedl/wiki/info-guis/
