Getting `base16-shell` to work on my system and adding it to nixpkgs (first contribution).
Hello. I am trying to add the package Base16 Shell (https://github.com/tinted-theming/base16-shell) to my setup. Eventually if I get it working I would like to add the software to NixOS because I think it's very useful and missing from nixpkgs.

elementary OS 7 Avaliable Now
It isn't something you "rice" except for changing a style sheet related to Pantheon, but it isn't really meant for that anyways. You could use something like Base16-shell for the terminal colors if you really wanted to rice your command line instead. Mind the shameless plug btw, it's a really useful utility that makes CLI coloration easier. You can set the accent colors to change automatically according to your wallpaper, so some visual flow is there.

Is there a natural way to make my vim colorscheme and my terminal emulator colorscheme different on iTerm2?
I prefer to use base16-shell to set my terminal colors and then https://github.com/base16-project/base16-vim to automatically apply that colorscheme to vim, keeping them in sync. Solarized is one of the available themes withing base16.

Are there any tools to analyse/modify colours directly from a bash script?
I am on Arch Linux and I am using pywal to generate a colour palette from my wallpaper, which I then use throughout my system. In particular, i have a bash script which grabs these colours and uses them for polybar. The problem is that sometimes these colours do not have enough contrast, and the bar is hard to read. Is there any tool that would allow me to check the readability of my colours, and modify them accordingly, directly from my script? If not, how should I be approaching this issue?

Best way to switch themes on the fly in Sway?
I'd definitely look into pywal for that, it's like a colorscheme manager that fills in templates (some already implemented but it also supports user templates) from either a color scheme you define or by color picking an image
