The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.

Tinder Match Statistics and Profile for Reference
I just requested my Tinder data and computed statistics for swipe right/left and match percentage using some code I found on github at https://github.com/mibeh/tinderstats.Spoiler alert, the results are not encouraging, to say the least. Conclusion: tinder is terrible.

Highly used R packages with no Python equivalent
BreakoutDetection. I actually started doing something like this, and contributed a few things to the dcor library that could be used for the underlying e-statistics, but I never got around to implementing the whole thing.
