Are any C# coders here?
Have you looked at nightscout? If you are a developer then I'm guessing you shouldn't have any issues setting it up. You can then use that to display it on an external display. If you still want to develop your own app, you can use its API. That's what I've been using for an app I've been working on https://github.com/Peeler-Coding-LLC/GlucoseViewer
