Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Asciinema: Record and share your terminal sessions, the simple way
I tried asciinema and I forgot which others, but I eventually used t-rec because it’s able to easily compress to a small size file that I can upload to GitHub (see demo on here https://GitHub.com/Langroid/Langroid) and it also creates mp4 filed that I can upload to loom etc.

Major Update: t-rec, a blazingly fast terminal recorder that generates animated gif images for the web written in rust for MacOS has now Linux Support!

Let's try Asciinema
There is also the tool asciicast2gif that allows to export to a gif file, so it can be integrated anywhere, but I don't think it's convenient, because you don't have the player, it's just a loop, and it takes time to process.
