The runtime is free though so you should be able to at least run tensorflow-ve on it using the precompiled wheel.

It could, maybe not this card which is last gen but if you can get your code (a CUDA clone is available https://github.com/SX-Aurora/veda so porting would not be a rewrite) to run on the second or upcoming third gen cards you could see big speed ups or less power consumption for the same throughput. Of course it depends on the workload and "process data" is to vague for me to say anything meaningful.
