Anyone here who loves elm and also want try rust. I ported with my best effort elm to rust and I think I made a pretty good job with it. I would be very interested in a feedback from an elm programmer perspective.
I'd argue it's better to have this by default, and if people really need it (which is arguable, see the discussion in https://github.com/elm/virtual-dom/issues/131) you could add ways to inject JS/HTML without the safety railings but not have those be the default or innocent-looking.
