I might try stgolem's fork of BrowserSelector, I kinda like it's implementation of a menu and even more so that it should handle microsoft-edge: hyperlinks; but so far, I haven't.

Hello there! Just a quick update: I started using Hurl (initially, just because it was the prettiest of the bunch, lol) -- and yes, I think it works very well for my purposes.
