PiP-Tool
PiP tool is a software to use the Picture in Picture mode on Windows. This feature allows you to watch content (video for example) in thumbnail format on the screen while continuing to use any other software on Windows. (by LionelJouin)

Anyone know if there's any updated alternative for PiP-Tool? It used to work great but now if the window in focus is in fullscreen/maximized mode, the target pip wiindow will no longer show up

What's the current postition from AGS about minimap?
The workaround to this is by using Overwolf to stream your location and then using Picture-in-Picture (ex: https://github.com/LionelJouin/PiP-Tool) to show it in the corner of the screen.
- NWMM has been updated to comply with the new ToS. Resources can no longer be displayed, but it does allow you to stream your location to a website to show them outside of the game.
