spotify_sync VS spotify-downloader

For anyone wanting to use Spotify to discover music but keep an offline copy too (up to FLAC) checkout my project spotify_sync

For anyone wanting to run something that will keep a copy of all your Spotify songs offline checkout my project spotify_sync. Definitely for the more technical people that want to run it on a headless server though

There are other GUI tools but mine is spotify_sync

spotify_sync is written in Python and runs as one-shot application meaning it can easily be scheduled with cron.

You can use Spotdl ,it will will work if yt music is available in your region

I use https://github.com/spotDL/spotify-downloader to download and convert my spotify playlists to mp3 or flac files.

Just wanted to make a post on here for anyone who needs it, spotDL is probably the best option currently for downloading music with all the tagged data including lyrics, artist, album art, etc. directly from spotify but rips the audio from Youtube. It also has the capability to download entire albums and playlists from giving it a link. It requires a bit of set up but it's completely worth it! this is cool and all but I already use a tool called spotDL. Is there any benefit to this over that?
