- I wrote a schedulable Spotify account downloader to run on my server and download FLAC's
-
Does it make sense to get an MP3 player and download songs on it instead of paying for Spotify?
For anyone wanting to use Spotify to discover music but keep an offline copy too (up to FLAC) checkout my project spotify_sync
-
Spotify downloader that downloads songs in 320kbps with all the metadata. Also downloads albums and playlists as ZIP.
For anyone wanting to run something that will keep a copy of all your Spotify songs offline checkout my project spotify_sync. Definitely for the more technical people that want to run it on a headless server though
- A way of scraping my Spotify playlists and automatically downloading them?

Where Could I Find A Spotify To Flac/Wav Downloader
There are other GUI tools but mine is spotify_sync

Cache all your Spotify songs for doomsday (IN FLAC!)
spotify_sync is written in Python and runs as one-shot application meaning it can easily be scheduled with cron.

Does downloading through a trial HIFI account have limits?
Use d-fi instead
-
More info About D-Fi please/Any D-Fi Tutorial?
I'm assuming you're on Windows so download https://github.com/d-fi/releases/releases/download/2.1.3/d-fi-win.zip, extract it, open CMD from Start menu, drag the .exe file you extracted into the CMD window and add -a along with your ARL and press enter. Then drag the same file again and press enter. If you did it right it'll ask you what format you want

Deezer/Deemix HiFi ARL #4
Known issues include inaccessibility of explicit tracks and deemix search/download malfunction. The latter is solved by using d-fi (here's a pre-config with current arl) or streamrip; changing the language to English and pressing Save button at the bottom of Deezer's account settings also works.
-
MacOS gui version not working for me
Try d-fi.
-
Deezer/Deemix HiFi ARL #3
If deezer stops working with the arl (search/download failure), use d-fi (or pre-config with current arl). My preconfig version is just a .json file with arl included with the app; it works for mac version too as long as it's in the app's folder. If you're brave enough, you can also give streamrip a shot.
-
First time user, stuck on "Searching..." on both MacOS and Windows
Try d-fi (or pre-config with arl).
-
Deezer/Deemix HiFi ARL #2
Does it work if you paste the download links? If not, d-fi or a pre-config might work.
-
text from link
Out of curiosity(as I couldn't find any specific mentions), is the "d-fi" you used in your code referring to this?
