I was suggested to try https://github.com/Duckonaut/split-monitor-workspaces which apparently handles it better, but I've not tried this yet.
- Any chance of an option for DWM-like across monitors workspace in the future?

Trying to figure out per-monitor workspaces
You can check my configuration and program hyprsome to set it up, i think it should be what you looking for. There are also some hyperland plugins which do the similar things but i haven't give them a chance yet

I'm trying to upload all my dotfiles to github, but it's sort of frustrating to do that without any knowledge of git and github (i use it for local version control and git clone). But finally some magic happened and I create my first git repo! https://github.com/GrenicMars/dotfiles
