splatmoji
Quickly look up and input emoji and/or emoticons/kaomoji on your GNU/Linux desktop via pop-up menu. (by cspeterson)
laptop-dotfiles
(for my laptops) personal collection of config files for my Linux set-up. I mostly use a cringe-looking awesome-WM "rice", neovim, and the fish shell. (by kj-sh604)

Need help with emojis and text emojis :")
For text emojis you'll need a third party app. To aid in your quest for an app try searching "kaomoji linux github". I think splatmoji looks promising.

Emoji Picker
I have an emoji implementation via dmenu based off of Luke Smith's dmenu emoji menu. It's on my dotfiles github repo https://github.com/blistakanjo604/dotfiles-laptop you can clone it and look for "Blista-Kanjo-Emoji" and move that folder to your ~/.local/share. You will need a custom build of dmenu though, which I also have on my repo (sorry, I know the repo is documented like shit). Let me know if u come across any issues I'll be happy to help out.
