Switching from macOS to Pop _OS
Could try my Sorun.me script.. built for Ubuntu Budgie and installs a lot of dev goodies (can be read in a basic yaml config file before installing) and yes consistent shortcuts from my meticulously built Kinto.sh app.

Switched Work Computer from MacOS to Fedora 35 on Thinkpad - 2 Week Impressions
Apparently the creator of kinto.sh (the script to change shortcuts to be macOS-like) is working on a bigger script called sorun.me to make many things in Linux behave more like macOS. I'm not sure what's the extent, but I'll probably test that on Ubuntu Budgie too later.

paru has better defaults and --chroot, whereas it's still an open issue for yay.

If you use AUR packages, you might want to use an AUR helper that wraps pacman, like paru or yay.
