The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

I made an #include-less version of std::vector, supporting resize_and_overwrite()
I have a bit silly implementation of small vector using a custom allocator for std::vector https://github.com/KonanM/small_vector

std::forward_list vs std::vector compiler optimizations
For just a small experiment you could give my minimal small vector implementation a try. https://github.com/KonanM/small_vector/blob/master/include/small_vector/small_vector.h

llc - a standalone project containing LLVM containers
Since you asked for feedback about CMake: * You don't need to put the INSTALL_INTERFACE genex in the root CML, the install interface already populates the include directories. * The fix-paths.cmake file doesn't solve the problem properly. You need to pass the paths already formatted properly to CMake in the CI and locally.

std::forward_list vs std::vector compiler optimizations
In case you're interested, I started to isolate LLVM's containers in a separate project so that they can be reused more easily. There's only SmallVector right now but I'll add more in the coming days
What are some alternatives?
When comparing small_vector and lvc you can also consider the following projects:
less - `#include`-less implementation of `std::vector`
small_vector - A fully featured single header library implementing a vector container with a small buffer optimization.
cmake-init - The missing CMake project initializer
llc - Collection of C++ containers extracted from LLVM [Moved to: https://github.com/BenjaminNavarro/lvc]
